1 Kg Prime Rib Roast
For an easy seasoning mix just combine oil salt and pepper in.
1 kg prime rib roast. A two-rib roast will weigh 4 to 6 pounds while a four- or five-rib roast can weigh 8 to 10 pounds. Roast at 500 degrees for 15 minutes. For moisture try heating it in melted butter.
Place the roast ribs down on the rack in a roasting pan. The full roast usually called a standing rib roast when its sold that way has seven ribs. Generously season your roast with sea salt and black pepper.

If you cant find one or its too expensive select a cut of meat consisting of ribs six to nine. Preheat your oven to 450 F degrees for at least 30 minutes while the prime rib comes to room temperature. Its expensive and considered the best cut.
Roast your prime rib for one hour and then turn off the heat. Other popular options are to slice the prime rib thinly or chop it up into small pieces for sandwiches. Cooks Illustrated for example recommends choosing a cut consisting of ribs 10 to 12 as this area contains a single muscle.
Rest the meat for 15-30 minutes in a warm place. Recommended cooking temperature is 325ºF. Add it to the oven and cook for 15 minutes at 450F.
