Cookies Made With Butter Extract
Butter extract is nasty.
Cookies made with butter extract. Bake the cookies until lightly browned on the bottom edges and just barely browned on top about 14-15 minutes. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Cream butter and sugar together using an electric mixer until light and fluffy about 3 minutes.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment cream the butter on medium speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute so that it is malleable. Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet then. I soon learned you could just USE REAL BUTTER instead. Salted butter can be used too cookies will just be lightly saltier just omit the salt in the recipe.
Once boiling remove from heat and allow it to cool. Preheat oven to 400 F. Beat in salt almond extract and vanilla extract.
