Prime Rib Recipe Dijon Mustard
Trim off any excess fat off of the roast and season the entire thing with kosher salt and black pepper.

In a mini food processor pulse the peeled garlic cloves until minced. Stir together sour cream mustard and lemon-pepper seasoning in a small bowl. Combine salt black pepper whole grain mustard and garlic in a small bowl and mix well.

In a bowl mix together the kosher salt black pepper thyme and garlic powder. One 9- to 10-pound prime rib roast. 14 cup multicolor whole peppercorns.
In a small bowl combine the dijon olive oil garlic salt pepper and herbs in a bowl. Sprinkle this spice mix over the roast. Use your hands and rub the Dijon mixture over the entire roast.
